William Bryant

William “Will” Bryant serves as System Chief Financial Officer of UNC Health.

UNC Health comprises 20 hospitals and the clinical patient care programs of the UNC School of Medicine, along with a statewide network of campuses and clinics. In his role, Will provides strategic financial leadership and oversight across operational finance, financial planning, revenue cycle management, accounting, treasury, government reimbursement, payor relations, and corporate development.

Will has held multiple senior leadership positions within UNC Health throughout his career. He first joined the system in 2016 as CFO of UNC High Point Regional Health and went on to serve as System Vice President of Supply Chain, CFO of UNC Health Shared Services, CFO of UNC Hospitals, and Associate CFO of UNC Health. Prior to joining UNC Health, Will served in leadership roles at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Novant Health, both non-profit health systems based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

A native of eastern North Carolina, Will is committed to advancing UNC Health’s mission to improve the health of all North Carolinians. He holds a degree in Business Management from NC State University and completed his MBA at UNC Chapel Hill.

Will and his wife, Allyson, live in Raleigh with their five sons and chocolate lab, Duck. Outside of his professional responsibilities, and when he’s not bouncing between his sons’ many sports, Will enjoys spending time fishing with his family on the North Carolina coast.
