Laura Bunn

Bunn serves as the Mid-Atlantic Regional President for First Horizon Bank. Bunn’s banking career began 30 years ago as a teller with Wachovia while a student at North Carolina State University. Previous roles with First Horizon include Triangle Market President and Mid-Atlantic Private Client leader. Prior to joining First Horizon, Bunn was the Commercial Banking Market Leader for PNC’s Eastern Carolinas region. Previous roles include Regional Vice President of Commercial Markets for RBC Bank’s Triangle region and Relationship Manager for Commercial and Business Banking.

Bunn currently serves as Board member, Finance chair and Treasurer for the NC Chamber, Board member for the YMCA of the Triangle, Board member and Development chair for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Board member for the Daniel Center for Math and Science.

Previous service includes Board member for Marbles Kids Museum (Past Chair), Board member for Girl Scouts Coastal Pines, Board member for Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (Past President), Trustee for William Peace University, Chair of the Greater Raleigh Chamber Women’s Leadership Conference and Chair of the American Heart Association’s (Triangle Chapter) Go Red for Women.

Bunn was recognized by the Triangle Business Journal for the Corporate Leadership Award (2024), on the Power 100 list by Diversity Women Magazine (2022), by the Triangle Business Journal for the Women in Business Award (2009) and 40 under 40 (2011).
